TransTRACK Introduces TransTRACK Academy to Improve the Digital Competence of Human Resources in the Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain Sectors

TransTRACK Academy

Jakarta, July 3, 2025 – In order to address the real challenges in the transportation, logistics, and supply chain sectors-especially regarding the gap between technological advancements and the readiness of human resources-TransTRACK officially launched the TransTRACK Academy. This initiative features industry-driven training and certification programs designed to improve the readiness of human resources for digital transformation, particularly in the use of Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Data Analytics in fleet operations and logistics management.

The TransTRACK Academy program is focused on three main areas: Fleet Engineering, Digital Supply Chain, and Computer Engineering, with learning levels ranging from beginner to advanced. In the initial phase, the first two curricula will be prioritized, namely Fleet Engineering and  Digital Supply Chain. Participants will also obtain industry certifications that are applicable and in accordance with field needs.

The problem faced by the national logistics sector today is not only limited to the lack of labor, but also the limited number of skilled workers who are ready to use. This is reflected in the decline in Indonesia’s Logistics Performance Index (LPI) ranking from 45th in 2018 to 63rd in 2023, according to World Bank data. Low tracking & tracing capabilities and lack of human resource capacity are the main causes.

On the other hand, despite the increasing adoption of digital technology in logistics and fleet management, there are still many technicians and operators who do not have sufficient competence to operate it optimally. This has an impact on national logistics costs which are still high, at around 23% of GDP-far above international standards (Southeast Strategics, 2024).

Anggia Meisesari, Founder and CEO of TransTRACK, stated, “Technology is not the only solution. We need superior human resources who are able to run technology efficiently and safely. We present TransTRACK Academy to support the government’s agenda in creating jobs and increasing the competitiveness of Indonesia’s logistics industry.”

Similarly, Aris Pujud Kurniawan, Co-Founder and CTO of TransTRACK, emphasized the importance of HR readiness in digital transformation, “TransTRACK Academy is part of our long-term strategy. The material comes directly from operational needs in the field and is delivered by certified practitioners and trainers. The main focus is on improving technology-based technical skills such as IoT, AI, and fleet operations.”

Budi Santosa, Head of TransTRACK Academy, explains that the training approach is practical and based on real industry challenges. “The program is open to vocational graduates, students, and professionals, and is also an official recruitment channel for TransTRACK. We are targeting to recruit 30 new technicians by the end of 2025.”

Registration for the TransTRACK Academy is open from July 7-31, 2025, with an early bird discount of Rp250,000 for participants who register between July 7-16, 2025. This program is designed for anyone who wants to improve their digital competencies in the technical field of logistics.

TransTRACK also opens collaboration opportunities with vocational schools, universities, and industrial communities to strengthen the digital talent ecosystem. The academy’s activities include intensive training, seminars with industry experts, book reviews, and applicable research and consulting.

This launch confirms TransTRACK’s position as a tech enabler that not only offers digital solutions for fleet and supply chain optimization, but also as a key driver of HR development and data-driven industrial transformation in Indonesia.More information and registration is available at academy.transtrack.co and Instagram @transtrack.co
