TransTRACK Webinar: Exploring Road Safety and Technology Synergy in Improving Driving Safety

Jakarta, March 20, 2025 –  TransTRACK webinar was successfully held with the title  Safe Travel, Comfortable Lebaran: Road Safety Education & Technology Synergy, which presented driving safety experts to discuss various important aspects in reducing the number of road accidents.

The event featured Erreza Hardian, a representative from the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) Car Safety Commission, as well as Rifki Darmawan, VP of Sales of TransTRACK, with Noor Fatmah Agustini K from TransTRACK as the moderator. This webinar aims to educate the public about the factors that cause accidents and technology-based solutions to improve driving safety.

The discussion in this TransTRACK webinar highlighted the various causes of traffic accidents that can come from vehicles, road conditions, as well as drivers and other road users. IMI as an organization that plays a role in driving safety continues to promote education and literacy about road safety, including through campaigns and perspectives from various communities.

According to Erreza Hardian, technical education on proper driving techniques, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with regulations such as Over Dimension Over Loading (ODOL) are very important in minimizing the risk of accidents. He also emphasized that the regulations implemented in Indonesia are adequate, but need commitment from all parties to implement them properly.

“Many consider regulations and surveillance technology as a form of restriction. In fact, the main purpose of regulation, technology, and surveillance is to protect all road users,” said Erreza.

As a company that focuses on technology-based transportation management solutions, TransTRACK introduces various innovations that can help reduce the number of traffic accidents. One of its flagship innovations is the  Driver Fatigue Monitoring System, which has been widely used in the public transportation sector. This technology is able to detect driver fatigue in real-time and provide early warning, thus preventing accidents.

In addition, TransTRACK’s monitoring platform-based solutions enable companies and transportation operators to identify potential causes of accidents and take anticipatory steps based on reliable data. The implementation of this technology has been proven to increase productivity by 30% and reduce fuel consumption by 20%.

“We understand that each customer has different needs, so TransTRACK solutions can be customized according to their individual needs. In addition, we have a We Care program that provides accident compensation of up to IDR 50 million per person for death victims, with a maximum of three people per incident, and IDR 5 million for injured victims,” explained Rifki Darmawan.

In 2024, TransTRACK established a strategic partnership with IMI in supporting driving safety campaigns, including in motorsport events such as rally championships. Given that the monitoring system in the rally championship in Indonesia is still done manually, TransTRACK comes with technological solutions to improve safety and efficiency in the event.

With the synergy between education, regulation, and technological innovation, it is hoped that awareness of driving safety will increase and the number of road accidents can be minimized. TransTRACK is committed to continuing to provide technology-based solutions to support the creation of safer and more comfortable travel for all road users.
