TransTRACK Encourages Indonesia’s Maritime Digital Transformation Through Webinar “Future Solutions for Operational Efficiency”

webinar may 2025

Jakarta, 28 May 2025TransTRACK once again showed its commitment in encouraging the digitalization of Indonesia’s maritime sector through a webinar entitled “Digital Transformation of Sea Transportation: Future Solutions for Operational Efficiency.” This online event featured Nuraeni E Sudirman (TransTRACK Business Advisor) as the keynote speaker and was moderated by Tita Haryanti (Product Trainer of IT Team TransTRACK).

As a maritime country with more than 70% of its territory consisting of waters, Indonesia has great potential in the sea transportation sector. On this occasion, TransTRACK emphasized the importance of digital acceleration in the maritime world as an effort to increase operational efficiency and transparency.

“Currently, awareness of digitalization in Indonesia is increasing. The market is very large, but there are still few players who really focus on this field. This is where TransTRACK takes a role,” said Nuraeni E Sudirman in her presentation.

One of the main focuses of digitalization is fuel efficiency, considering that 60-70% of operational costs in the shipping sector come from fuel consumption. TransTRACK presents the real-time fuel monitoring system solution that is able to provide accurate and in-depth reports to monitor fuel usage in real time, including the transfer process through the coriolis flow meter.

TransTRACK also introduced the Bunker Monitoring System and Cargo Monitoring System, specifically for the transportation of liquid cargo, which can monitor the temperature, pressure, and type of fluid being transferred.

To support government policies related to the digitization of maritime operations, TransTRACK presents a comprehensive vessel monitoring system through the Vessel Monitoring System which includes:

  • Fuel Monitoring System
  • Bunkering System
  • Engine Monitoring System
  • Cargo Monitoring System

This system uses  real-time data monitoring technology with data transmission per minute via cellular and every 5 minutes via satellite network. This technology enables sensor-based preventive actions available on the TransTRACK dashboard to detect indications of fraud and other potential operational disruptions.

As an all-in-one solution, TransTRACK also includes a RPM Monitoring feature to ensure that ship speeds are as planned, as well as a Weather Monitoring feature to anticipate extreme weather conditions on the high seas.

Responding to the challenges of connectivity on the high seas, TransTRACK comes with the ability to be compatible with various types of satellites, ensuring the system remains running and fully monitored in various sea conditions.

With advanced and integrative technology, TransTRACK continues to provide solutions at competitive prices, making it accessible to more maritime industry players in Indonesia.

“We not only offer monitoring systems, but also provide insights that can help companies make more informed, efficient, and safe decisions,” added Nuraeni.
