TransTRACK Drives Maritime Digitalization Through Integrated Solutions at INAMARINE 2025

Jakarta, July 29, 2025 – INAMARINE 2025, Asia’s largest and most prestigious annual maritime exhibition, officially opened today at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran. The 13th edition will once again serve as a strategic stage for shipping, port, offshore and maritime manufacturing industry players to showcase the latest technology, forge new partnerships and address increasingly complex industry challenges.

One of the exhibitors this year came from  TransTRACK, a transportation and logistics technology solutions provider that is now expanding its scope of innovation to the maritime and port sector. In its participation at INAMARINE 2025, TransTRACK is presenting three flagship solutions designed to address key challenges in marine and port operations:

1. Vessel Monitoring System – Improving Marine Fleet Visibility and Efficiency

One of the key highlights at TransTRACK’s booth was the Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) equipped with a coriolis flow meter for highly accurate fuel measurement. The coriolis technology allows direct measurement of fuel fluid mass, not just volume, so the system can capture related real-time data:

  • Fuel flow rate (mass flow rate)
  • Actual total consumption by mass (not just liters)
  • Fluid density and fuel temperature
  • Detection of anomalies during the filling and combustion process

This technology is essential to avoid inaccurate record keeping due to external factors such as temperature, pressure, and fuel viscosity – a frequent source of loss in shipping operations.

On TransTRACK’s digital dashboard, users can view fuel consumption data per trip, per engine, and even per hour, directly integrated with cruise route and engine status. This combination of vessel position monitoring, engine condition, and coriolis-based fuel measurement makes TransTRACK’s VMS one of the most precise and informative systems in the maritime market today.

2. Port Surveillance System – Digital Security and Monitoring of Port Activities

TransTRACK also highlights the importance of security and surveillance of  port activities through the Port Surveillance System which has now been directly integrated with I-Motion (Indonesian Integrated Monitoring System On Navigation) – a national vessel traffic monitoring platform developed by Directorate of Navigation – Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Indonesian Ministry of Transportation.

The TransTRACK system combines two main components:

  • AI-based CCTV with intelligent visual analysis capabilities to monitor real-time movement of vehicles, people, and vessels in the port area. The cameras can recognize suspicious activities, zone violations, and crowd gathering automatically.
  • AIS Receiver (Automatic Identification System) to receive ship navigation data from land and satellite. This data allows the system to know the identity, position, speed, and direction of vessels entering or leaving the port area.

Through connection to the I-Motion platform, the system also supplies and receives data from various national sources such as Vessel Traffic Services (VTS), Coastal Radio Stations (SROP), coastal radar, voice communication, and government CCTV. The result is comprehensive, centralized waterway and port surveillance that supports a single national marine navigation database.

TransTRACK not only strengthens the local aspect at the port level, but also promotes data sovereignty and integration of the national water surveillance system, making it a strategic partner in strengthening Indonesia’s maritime sector.

3. Bunker Monitoring System – Ship Fuel Transparency and Efficiency

One of the highest operational costs in ocean shipping is fuel consumption (bunkering). TransTRACK presents the Bunker Monitoring System to help operators monitor the filling process and fuel usage with high accuracy and without manual intervention.

This system utilizes:

  • Flow meter and fuel level sensor embedded in the ship’s fuel pipe system.
  • Digital dashboard to monitor daily consumption, per trip, up to per engine
  • Anomaly notification when filling irregularities occur (e.g. indications of leakage or theft)
  • History record that can be used for internal and external auditing or reporting

With this system, ship operators can ensure route efficiency, avoid budget leakage, and have full transparency of ship fuel usage. <The ROI from using this system has proven to be positive, especially for companies with medium to large number of operational vessels.

TransTRACK invites all visitors, industry partners, and government institutions to visit booth D2A2-01 during the exhibition on 29-31 July 2025, and explore first-hand how technology can become a new foundation for the growth of the national maritime industry.

About INAMARINE 2025
