Supporting 5G, AI, and IoT Era, TransTRACK Presents at Tech & Telco Summit 2025 for Fleet Digitalization Transformation

Jakarta, February 21, 2025 – TransTRACK participated in the Tech & Telco Summit 2025 organized by CNBC Indonesia at Menara Bank Mega. In the discussion session titled The 5G & AI Era: Transforming Industry for the Future, Aris Pujud Kurniawan, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer TransTRACK, explained the innovations carried by the company in supporting efficiency and safety in the logistics and transportation industry.

In a discussion themed 5G for Industry: Affordable Access to Next-Gen Connectivity, Aris Pujud highlighted the important role of IoT and AI technologies in improving the operational efficiency of the logistics sector. In his explanation at the Tech & Telco Summit 2025, TransTRACK offers a sensor-based GPS tracking solution that enables real-time fleet monitoring, helping companies with route optimization, fuel savings, and downtime reduction through predictive maintenance.

“IoT-based monitoring technology supported by 5G networks allows us to provide faster and more accurate solutions in various industrial sectors. With our system, fleet managers can view vehicle conditions in real-time and take preventive actions to avoid unexpected breakdowns,” explained Aris Pujud.

One of the main challenges in implementing this technology in Indonesia is the network limitations in remote areas. Aris Pujud revealed that TransTRACK has developed Global SIM Card & Satellite, as well as utilizing LoRaWAN technology to ensure devices stay connected even in locations with limited networks.

“In Malaysia, TransTRACK has successfully utilized global SIM cards that are always connected. For Indonesia, we adapted a hybrid connectivity (Global SIM Card & Satellite) solution, including a combination of 2G, 4G, and edge computing technology to ensure data can still be processed without having to rely on a stable internet connection,” he added.

In terms of safety, TransTRACK features an AI-powered Driver Monitoring System (DMS). This technology is capable of detecting risky behaviors such as drowsing, smoking, or cell phone use while driving, as well as providing warnings in real-time.

TransTRACK is currently developing Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication (V2V) which is adopted by Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) and implemented in motorsport technology development, specifically for Time Rally and Sprint Rally. The technology is designed to enhance communication between vehicles to improve safety and efficiency in racing competitions.

Furthermore, the V2V technology developed by TransTRACK is currently certified by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and will be used in the World Rally Championship (WRC) in Indonesia in 2026. With this technology, TransTRACK contributes to bringing IoT-based innovation to the international motorsport world.

Closing the discussion session, Aris Pujud shared TransTRACK’s vision in the next five years, where  AI and IoT will play an increasing role in the transportation industry. Technologies such as AI-based predictive maintenance, autonomous fleet management, blockchain for supply chain transparency, and real-time data-based route optimization will become the new standard in fleet management.

“We believe that the combination of AI, IoT, and 5G network will bring about major changes in the transportation industry. With the solutions we develop, companies can achieve higher efficiency, improve safety, and prepare for the accelerating digital transformation,” concluded Aris Pujud.

The Tech & Telco Summit 2025 event was also attended by various stakeholders, including government representatives, academics, and technology industry players.
