Safety Maintained, ASPERDA and TransTRACK® Unveil Safe Driving Solutions on the Road!

Jakarta (26/06/2024) – The Association of Regional RentCar Companies or commonly referred to as ASPERDA is a forum for vehicle rental business players to collaborate, exchange information, and develop best practices in the industry. This time  TransTRACK together with Didik Prasetyo, as Chairman of ASPERDA held a webinar entitled, “Association of Vehicle Rental Business Professionals” to get to know more about how the vehicle rental business in Indonesia.

ASPERDA was established in 2013 with 24 branches spread throughout Indonesia. The purpose of the establishment of this association is nothing more than to support rental business players, both vehicles, spare parts, and driving safety. As for the requirements to join, prospective members must have a legal entity for the business that has been developed, with a minimum of 5 vehicle assets.

The members who have joined ASPERDA themselves have had several benefits such as networking, guaranteed security for vehicle renters, and security for business owners in cases such as embezzlement, theft, missing spare parts, and other problems in the field.

For the challenges faced in the rental business, there are safety issues when driving and the vehicle itself. However, although the challenges are considerable, the rental business opportunities are no less great. Many of ASPERDA’s members have grown well through this business. From growing vehicle assets, to increasing revenue. This is also because Indonesia has a growing number of tourism spots.

Mr. Didik also appealed, to always comply with the SOP that has been determined. Especially during off-key vehicle rental transactions. Coupled with the safety features of TransTRACK which are very helpful for business people in this field.

The safety features of TransTRACK itself were explained by Rifki Darmawan, as VP of Sales & International Affairs TransTRACK. Which explained that, rental business people in Indonesia can use safety features in the form of Location Tracking, Immobilizer as a long-distance anti-theft, Double Protect if the GPS is unplugged then the stolen car cannot run. There are other safety features for drivers and passengers such as Driver Fatigue/Behavior, Camera, and many more.

Fleet owners can also use  Vehicle Maintenance System to manage the repair schedule of each of their vehicle assets, inventory, and mechanics in one system. With this VMS, vehicle owners can perform scheduled maintenance, reduce repair costs, and improve safety.

In addition, TransTRACK also has accident compensation provided to vehicle owners with TransTRACK equipment installed, if an unwanted event occurs while on the road. An amount of 5 million per person will be given per incident if the driver or passenger suffers minor injuries, and an amount of 50 million per person (maximum of 3 people) will be given per incident if the driver suffers permanent disability or death.
